What if the business I'm looking at doesn't have full financials?

That’s common—and it’s exactly why I offer flexible options. If tax returns or full P&Ls aren’t available, I can still perform a financial review using what you do have. I’ll highlight red flags, gaps, and questions you need to ask the seller. Many of my clients use this insight to renegotiate or walk away from bad deals.

How are you different from a CPA or Broker?

Great question! CPAs are great for taxes, and brokers are focused on the sale—but neither is focused on protecting you as the buyer. I come in as a former SBA loan underwriter who’s personally reviewed hundreds of deals. My only job is to make sure you’re buying a cash-flowing business that makes sense—as is, not based on future hopes.

Do you help with SBA loans or just analyzing the business?

I do both. If you’re looking at SBA financing, I can assess if the deal is SBA-eligible, help with loan structure, and prepare you to approach lenders with confidence. My background in SBA underwriting gives you an edge most buyers never have—and can speed up approvals or help you avoid major delays.

When should I bring you in during the buying process?

Ideally as early as possible—before you sign a Letter of Intent or get too deep in diligence. That’s when I can give you the most leverage, save you time, and help you avoid bad deals. But even if you’re further along, I can still jump in and help make sense of the numbers or negotiate terms.
